Rigi is a mountain in
central Switzerland.
It is also known as the "Queen of the Mountains." The highest peak is
the Rigi-Kulm at 1,797.5 meters, with Rigi-Hochflue,
Dossen
and Rotstock and Rigi-Scheidegg being slightly less high. The mountain is
easily accessible by public transportation. It offers many activities such as
skiing or sledging in the winter, and hiking in the summer.
Mt. Rigi offers an area for
recreation and sports measuring approximately 90 square kilometers offering a variety of well-maintained walking trails or
mountain hikes where visitors can have a panoramic view of 150 km from various marked points. There are also numerous public
grilling stations located near the hiking trails.

Snowboarding is a winter sport that involves descending a slope
that is covered with snow while standing on a board attached to a
rider's feet, using a special boot set onto a mounted binding.

A snowmobile, also known as a snowmachine,
is a land vehicle designed for winter travel on snow. It is designed to
be operated on snow and ice. They do not require a specific road or
trail. Variations of the snowmobile enable some machines to operate in
deep snow or forests.
Skiing
Skiing is a recreational activity and competitive sport in which the participant attaches long runners or skis to boots or shoes on the feet and uses them to travel on top of snow.
Sledding
Sledding or tobogganing is a common activity in wintry areas, similar to sliding, but in a prone or seated position requiring a device generically known as a sled.
